  • The first color try. I didn't like it so I took it back in and they fixed it for free. 1
  • The sign. I cut out letters and taped them on. Then I lightly sprayed with black paint. It took several coats.
  • After the right number of coats of paint I removed the paper letters.
  • The final sign after the white touch up. 1
  • Hanging the sign. We secured it right into the brick. The trim on the metal door was screwed right in too.

Father's Day gift for my geeky husband.

I converted our outside, basement door into the Tardis. (The time machine from Doctor Who) It's the perfect entrance for his "man cave". I had some help with the power tools and details.

Very clever of u to have thought of doing something like this to this outside basement door as ...»
the whole motif serves as a security measure for hubby as people respect that blue color and also what is on the sign. WHAT AN AWESOME, AND PRETTY JOB YOU HAVE MADE FOR HUBBY ON FATHER'S DAY, LINDA.

From dilapidated garage to the start of our English garden.

We carefully removed the 100 year old siding from the walls we tore down and used them to side the new wall we put up. Our garage was always too small for a car, so now it's a better shed with new sitting area.
