  • After attempting to clean with Comet and Liquid toilet bowl cleaner I still had this nasty hard water build up scuzzy ring. 10
  • This is the AFTER picture :) 1
  • The lemon Koolaid works in the dishwasher too for removing the soap scum build up from the insides. Just put in in place of the soap and run an empty washer on it's regular cycle... The before and after will amaze you!
  • I know this looks nasty, but remember it's just Koolaid :) 1

Disregard those who think your house is dirty. I am disabled and cannot clean like I want to. ...»
But I also have hard water. That toilet bowl is a constant pain in my back. I like the part about the denture cleaners. As I am also in a wheel chair. When it is just my hubby and I at home I have found out there is lots of dirt in our hard water too. If I don't clean the toilet twice a day then it also makes a ring of dirt which look very much like something else. If we have company we must swish the toilet at least five times a day.

I am looking forward to trying the denture cleaners on payday. Maybe that will cut down on the amount of times we need to clean the toilet daily.

Painting: I have judges panelling in my family room, and I'm thinking of painting it white.

How should I go about doing this or should I get a professional to do the job? There are also matching wood shelves on either side of the fireplace, as well as wood stained crown molding. Sounds like a big job.....

I just came across what might be the most 'NON' Designed To Sell home in America.

You MUST see this home. Just click on the link and look at the photos. I would love to hear your feedback.

Oh Shane You are a laugh a minute. ...»

Terry - What kind of stains are you trying to remove? I used to have the worse carpet around when I had a rental house. I would use the cheapest rug cleaner I could get in a can from the Dollar Store. The one where everything is a dollar and no more. That always worked for me.

The other thing that works great is Resolve Carpet Cleaner. I use this on all my small rugs I have now, as I just have hardwood floors. This also works great for stubborn stains in the laundry. Let me know how it works out. Cindy
