Outdoor Living: A problem with the well water... what category?

Our well is about 100 yards from the house. After a hard rain, the water becomes muddy, especially evident in the commodes. It clears after a few days, but my wife can no longer stand it. Is there a fix, or something more expensive?

I'm also posting the label on the product.

Do you think the label was sufficient to tell him what he needed to know?

I broke the top of my concrete bird bath. I'm left with the base which has a squirrel on it. Any ideas for repurposing it?

water vs. cycling on & off. It comes with a clock (pc 2) and pins to set "on" & "off " for 2 time periods. Ours runs for 3 hours in the late aft.-if we have need for more hot water, there is an override switch so you can just turn it on as needed. Going on vacation? Use the override switch to shut it off completely while you are away! Turn it back on when you get home and by the time you are done unpacking you will have hot water.

Wildlife & Animals: Does anyone have any good suggestions on how to keep squirrels out of my bird feeders?

I have tried the crushed red pepper in the bird seed, and have tried putting vaseline on the pole that holds the feeders....any other suggestions? I will at times have one or two in the feeders, with 5 or 6 on the ground below...I dont mind them on the ground, but they've broken a couple of feeders already this year for me.... :(
