Heating & Cooling: We need a new A/C & furnace installed in our crawlspace.

We're going with a Trane system and are wondering if replacing the duct is highly recommended. They quoted $1800 to replace it although didn't press the issue. Sealing the existing duct is included in their price.

    The only thing that I would have to add to this is unless there is mold in the existing duct ...»
    work due to moisture leaking into the system .
