  • First, you put a piece of painter's tape on the back of your art and push a pencil in to the two holes.
  • Attach the tape to the wall and use a level to make sure it is straight. Then pound the nails into the two pencil marks.
  • Then use a level to give it one final inspection to make sure it is the way you want it. It is simple and mistake free.

Here's An Easy Way to Hang Art Straight

Do you have trouble hanging your art and projects so they are straight on the wall? We did, too, until we started using this method. Check it out here: http://the2seasons.com/2012/07/23/how-to-han...

We found this at the end of a neighbor's driveway with a Take Me tag. Do you think I should invite her over for coffee to see her table now?

How to get Blood out of Carpet?

This may sound strange but if you take shaving creme either men or women, gel or not. Get a lather and spread it on the area affected let sit for about 10 minutes then blot with slightly wet dish towel or wash cloth and it will remove it. I don't know why but it works. Great for those bloody noses.

Art is not a measure of skill but of Passion SIGN

My kids are still home on break and since I can't get any big projects done around here, I have decided to get a bunch of signs done for the new booth. This is a favorite quote of mine ...»
that I have on my wall in my living room. I decided to make one into a sign and I just sketched a paint brush on too..:)

  • Pushed together they make a great coffee table. http://ponderedprimedperfected.blogspot.com
  • Sadie wants you to notice how they have a fun new vibe, but they are still subtle enough to not overpower the room.
  • Pull them apart to use as tv trays or for laptops...easily folded up and put out of the way to create more room.
  • The before and after...knotty honey colored finish just didn't go with our room.

Folding Tables get a fresh makeover with painted Chevron Stripe

These folding tables were given to us by a very dear family member many years ago. He's no longer with us but the great memories remain...and so will these folding tables! I wanted to ...»
freshen them up and incorporate them into our room so I gave them a bit of a makeover with paint. Very easy makeover I might add! I went with a graphic chevron stripe but in a subtle color palette so they wouldn't overwhelm the room. WE love their new look!

Have a wobbly table? Use a wine cork!

There's nothing worse than sitting down to eat at a wobbly table. Everything is just a little bit more difficult (cutting a tough steak is a LOT more difficult) and the threat of a messy spill is looming over every bite of food. But if you have a cork or two stashed away in your junk drawer or a few leftover from last night's dinner party, you can fix that wobble in no time! Here's how to use a sliced wine cork to steady an uneven table: ...»

Note: This tip works great for wobbly chairs, too!

1. Measure the wobble. Have someone lean on the steady side of your table so that the unstable leg comes off the floor. Take a quick measurement with a ruler, or just eyeball the distance.
