Just bought my first house, so very exciting time for me. I never thought I'd be able to, much less my dream home. I have a 100 yr old home that is 3700 sq ft of beautiful. Original hardwood floors & light fixtures and stain glass windows. The true beauty is outside, which I am just now discovering. I moved here in November so didn't know what a wonderful treasure I have in the garden. So far I have identified over 32 different plants, flowers, and shrubs. I also have a dream list of trees, white oak, Japanese Mangolia, Eastern red maple, Holly, Wisconsin weeping willow, white& pink dogwood, sweet gum (pain in the fall), hickory, chestnut oak, Japanese maple and gingko trees. So each day is a new adventure of discovery here. I moved to a small town and it's so peaceful here that while talking on the phone with my dad he could hear the bird's cheeping lol. I spend every day outside or in one of the sun rooms.
