  • I love the way this old window (that I found on the side of the road) turned out! It's the perfect backdrop for my beachy mantel!
  • I gingerly cleaned and brushed off the old window using a brush, all-purpose cleaner, and a hose (on a gentle setting). I wanted to retain as much of the chippy blue paint as I could.
  • I used latex primer on the windows to prep them for chalkboard paint.

  • This project is simple, just use a hot glue gun and glue the rope around the vase or glass as you go!

  • The finished towel rack! I am so in love with this thing! :) 2
  • I scraped, brushed, and hosed off the dust, dirt, and debris.
  • I used a polyacrilyc sealer to seal in the paint and to avoid further chipping.

  • Cute and easy completed project!
  • I used the rest of some rope that I had leftover from another project!
  • I used a straw wreath because it is a similar color to the rope...you won't see it peeking through the rope loops!
