Plant ID Game!!

Okay, Here's a fun game to play for spring while we wait for warmer days to come. Let's test our Plant ID knowledge.....anyone can join in! ( I KNOW I'm not the only plant geek on here ;)

It's Super simple....post a picture of a plant using the hashtag #plantid and let others guess what it is. Even if you aren't sure what the plant/seed/root is yourself, there's probably a garden guru on here that ...»

does!

I'll go first....Who can ID this freaky little alien looking root I brought home from the Northwest Flower and Garden Show this weekend. ( It gives my husband the creeps, lol !)

I cannot 'GO' in this bathroom!!

This is an amazing powder room built from an existing elevator shaft. Can you or can you not?

The third picture, the one with the purple in the middle, looks like purple coneflower to me ...»
except I never had ones with jagged leaves. Could there be some other variety of coneflower that has leaves like that?

FIND OF THE WEEK - Which fabric?

We found these beautiful vintage chairs and I am so thrilled. I've been looking for the right fabric for the chairs and I shortlisted 4 of my best fabric finds.

My favorite is A - Angel Wings!

Which one is yours?

Bathroom: Remodeling master bath

What are your feelings about having a hot tub in a bathroom? A friend told me theirs made so much noise, it was not practical to use. Admittedly, it would only be used maybe once a month relaxing after a hard day.

I agree with Rhonda. I redid my bathroom in my last house a few years ago and put in a jetted ...»
tub. We enjoyed it immensely and it doesn't have any of the upkeep that a "hot tub" has. The only issue is that you are limited by the setting of your water heater while hot tub has an internal heater. If you're good with that, I would definitely look into the jetted tubs. I don't know just how big they come; ours was made for two.

    Good luck!

Flooring: Should my bamboo floor run parallel to my wood ceiling or across it

I have a wood ceiling that runs east and west and it is pine ( clear Coated ) I am putting in a bamboo floor, don't know what would look best- to run it along with the ceiling or opposite. Opinions please.

Hardwood flooring should run along, and in the same direction as, the longest wall in the room ...»
for the best effect. However that works in comparison to your ceiling, so be it. Good luck!
