Painting: Painting murals in the bottom of a pool; possible or not?

I have found pool paint and can tell that this is a delicate process. I have also seen very little of this happening in social media or on-line, so i can only assume it is not easy and ...»

I have seen some of this online. I am a muralist by trade and am not worried about how ...»
difficult it is i am more interested in seeing if It is possible. From what i can tell the paint only lasts up to about 5 years with underwater acrylics and epoxies can last up to 10 years, but are much more expensive and volitile to use. I have a friend who is going to repaint their pool anyhow, so this is my chance to try this. I think if it can work and be beautiful i may have a nother avenue that is much more appealing to a new audience for my painting skills. I have seen mosics, but I want to be able to create a realistic scene. i have seen killer wales and fish PAINTED on the bottom on google, but there are VERY few so if this works i think it is a great thing to add to the creative a custom list of things I can do. at this point my neighbor wants an octopus paintined in the bottom of the jaccuzi which I thought was a great idea....I thought consulting you guys was the best first choice! Im more concerned about using the correct products in the corect ways and seeing if there are limitations to the sealing process.....do they make a clear epoxy coating???

  • Wall Murals and Custom Artwork by Amber Dawn 2

This is one couples solution to beautify a horrible plain white retaining wall in their back yard.

Not only was the wall blinding, it was an eye sore to their beautiful property. Since they could not remove it, and the cost of a remodel wasn't what they wanted, their solution was to paint their dream landscape trompe l'oeil mural. They customised the mural completely choosing the plants, mountains, fountain and even the pot and flowers growing around the outside. If you have a spot you just cant seem to find the right painting for, or a full construction and remodel arn't in your ...»

When faced with rotten wood ends and you don't need to replace the whole piece of wood, epoxy wood filler is a very

good patch. At $100./gal. it's not cheap but unlike Bondo, the material expands and contracts with the wood, never cracking around the edges. It sands very easily.

Nothing in any wall or in any wood will go away permanetly in in my experience without first ...»
removing it, like a cavity, one of you said so well. Back painting is the key, and the epoxy is fine if the area of rot is tiny. if your good, and the area is small, you can mold the epoxy and bondo into the shape you want without putting in a new piece, but as already stated every job has its own variations and variables. Where, when, how big, and how bad have to be considered and solved before anything should be done. For a job taking care of rot or molds should always be left to professionals with a large amount of experience. Problem solving comes from experience, and when somthing is rotting or molding there are not to many alternative solutions that work in the LONG TERM, even if they look good.

design in my own home I would choose the Eclectic Contemporary because it is more liveable for me. I am not so formal. i would love to complement you on your choice in stone wood and bright colors with that elegant white and traditional bookshelves! I think this is actually more "Eclectic" than the design shown with that name.
