    apparent moisture problems from below , check to see the RH of the living space.. You might want to try a humidifier in the HVAC system.. Just a thought .. there were too many to read so I hope I didn't re post anything.. Plus sub standard wood is not an option.. Wood is wood .. You need to know the moisture levels of the wood , sub floor and RH of the house before installing.. Acclamation is the biggest issue with most hardwood installations :O) Enjoy
