corners are from volcano travertine. The moose i carved in with a 4" angle grinder and a diamond blade then dyed it with concrete dye. Whats cool about the whole thing you cant see. The mud work that lies beneath it all. Old school work...Not many even do it anymore. They (most builders) all want a blow n go quality thats why i started to focus on my concrete work.

My own answer came by simply screwing a rusty old licence plate onto an old crate, attach it to the wall, and voila, you're all set! Doesn't get much easier (or cooler) than this. :)

  you look inside the mirror vanity you will see a thicker board along the top edge and perhaps along the bottom edge as well. This is the location in which you should be fastening this vanity. Simply figure out exactly where the wall joists line up when the mirror is set into place, Drill some small holes in the mirror hanging area. And with help using screws that are at least two inches or bit longer, depending upon wall thickness (most are 1/2") put a washer under the screw head and fasten it into the wall.
  Ideally you want somewhere around 1-1/2 inch worth of screw into the stud. You can put some bar soap onto the threads of the screws by rubbing the screw on the soap. This will make it easier to fasten the screw into the wood.
  A few other tricks. Of course you need help to install this. Put the first screw as close to the middle area where stud is located and do not tighten real hard yet. The mirror will hang on this. Then simply using a level, level the mirror and then do a 2nd screw which will then keep the mirror level. Two or three screws is all that is really needed, but you should put at least two at top and two on bottom area.

with a rented steamer, then another patching and another painting (Valspar Desert Flower). In the near future he will be taking on tiling the floor and backsplash. The decor I hunted down at T.J. Maxx, Marshall's, Target, Lowe's and Walmart, all working off the theme of the flowered shower curtain. I made the window covering in under 2 hours with fusible tape, and made a watercolor painting of the flowers, cut it up and framed it in a random pattern. It is almost a shame to have to get going and go to work after getting ready in my "new" bathroom each morning.

  just that in our guest bath and because it is "finished" polyed over woodwork, you can't paint or stain. Thank goodness I experimented on the inside of a cabinet door...streaky miserable results. I should find those photos and post those. Thanks again!
