  • Sometimes your wall IS the art.
  • Size matters. The scale of a pattern and the space inbetween influences the drama. 1
  • Patterns can be repeated randomly and even overlapped to make a stunning accent wall. 1
  • Use variations of both size and color of your designs to reinforce your design theme. 1
  • Mix bold patterns with a sleek stripe to balance rooms with different sizes of walls. 1
  • Dramatic colors and bold designs will wake up neutral furnishings. Have no fear. It's only paint!

  • This is Stan's soft contemporary signature style. Isn't it beautiful?
  • Doesn't this look comfy? I could stay here, could you? Observe how he used monochromatic tones to accomplish high-end elegance.
  • Design Galleria at the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center designed this kitchen. They have also been on Design Tips with Lee Anne, they are my heroes as well. He used local Atlantans to execute this project.

I had the honor of having Stan Topol, a legendary Atlanta designer, as a guest on my radio show this week.

For those of you who don't know Stan, he put Atlanta on the map for interior design. Here are some pictures of his work that were featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles in January 2012. ...»
You can see more of Stan's work on Atlanta's St. Regis Hotel here: http://bit.ly/yvZQ2B

Kitchens: Would like to put granite on my kitchen counter tops, but don't think the existing tops could be removed without

damaging the cabinets in my 41 year old house. Is it possible to put granite on top of the existing counters?
