  • I finally had time to paint a piece of furniture for myself!
  • We built wood bottoms for the base of each compartment. We then hinged the drawer fronts.
  • The first one was tricky to maneuver into the right position. It was smooth sailing once we figured out a system. We also added magnetic closures to the inside of the cabinets. They matched up with the metal lock feature on the drawers

A Fix for Busted Drawers

My favorite table. Labor of love. After weeks of work and the help of my wonderful husband made this table out of many different types of wood rounds.

  • This unique awning or uplift style cabinet hinge makes the tray shelf easily accessible. 2
  • Sometimes lower, base cabinet mounted microwaves are a good choice. Especially for children to reach and use (not always the best idea, we know) or when you want it tucked away for design reasons
  • A mixer lift makes handling these heavy appliances much, much easier. In this case, we also installed an outlet inside the cabinet so the mixer can stay plugged in! 5
  • Deep pot drawers are very convenient to access large, heavy pots and pans. We always advise clients to incorporate them into a new kitchen design! 1
  • Drawer mounted bread box installed in Brookhaven cabinetry. 1
  • Occasionally we do install aftermarket file storage accessories in kitchen drawers. Usually this is helpful for a side "desk" area where bills/ mail/ paperwork might start accumulating.
