Hi, someone recommended I check into the Annie Sloan chalk paints for my kitchen cabinets.

have any of you who have used this paint used it in a high use area like a kitchen. I have 22 y/o oak cabinets in pretty good condition. Do I really not have to degloss them? will this paint hold up in a kitchen or will the wax finish get all goopy? It would be wonderful not to have all the prep work and I love the look. Thanks
