have a plastic egg mold that divides into 2 halves. I can't remember what is mixed with sugar, but only enough to moisten it so that it can be tightly packed into the mold. Once it has hardened, remove it from the mold and carefully slice off the end so that you can see inside. The rest of the assembly and decorating is done with Royal Icing. You can check a Wilton website to find it. Then your cake decorating flower-making skills kick in. Have fun! I always loved them too.
