Appliances: Recommendations For Purchasing A Blender

I want to purchase a blender for smothies, etc. and would like to know what kind you have used and how pleased you have been with them please. The prices seem to run from very low end to the very high end and it is hard to decide what to buy.

Our Son-in-law is in the Air Force. Our daughter was too which is where they met while ...»
stationed in S.Korea. They have about 18 months left in Hawaii. Thank you for the compliment on not looking old enough to be a Grammy. I think I've aged allot since that photo was taken almost two years ago. I've been meaning to have a new one taken, but I hate being on the front side of a camera.

I have been thinking of purchasing a food processor/blender combination. If any of you have one I would love some input of how you like yours and what brands you have.

My First Slipcover

I made this slipcover from my dear mother-in-law's chenille bedspread. It brings back such special memories of a very sweet lady and it is so easy to just throw it in the washer and dryer.

Crafts: Homemade Pill Organizer

Can any of you crafty people out there think of a way to make a non-toxic and nice looking pill box holder? I need something with compartments large enough to put all my big vitamins and ...»
suppliments in for daily use for 7 days. I do not want any of those plastic weekly pill holders, but something that will look nice sitting out and again is non-toxic and has a lid. I look forward to your ideas!

I save the little jars from the specialty pickled artichoke hearts and such that I tend to use ...»
in my cooking. I'm always making lotions or such for someone in the family...so I make use of them for that...but certainly they would make cute little vitamin jars as well... also a cardboard "hatbox" with spice jars in it would be cute...you could cover the lids with fabric to match the hatbox...You could even screw the hatbox to a lazy susan to make it revolve...

Gardening: Planting Questions

I have a Double Kwanso-Perennial, Hardy Rosemary, and Lavendar Thyme I live in Smyrna, TN and am thinking I might need to wait until April. It has been in the 80s and 20 degrees hotter ...»
than usual this time of year. The Kwanso is not in a pot, so do I need to put in one until I plant it in the ground? As you can tell I do not have a green thumb?

Painting: Vintage Look Ceiling Fan

I want to make my celing fans look more vintage as in shabby chic. The only thing I can think of is painting them with ASCP and changing out the globes. Any other ideas would be appreciated. I could not find much when I googled.
