    a table, so I will want to clean it regularly, so I'm wondering - is the lacquer thick? Meaning does it fill in some of that roughness so you can still see it but it's smoother?

porcelain dishes that stink. The steam doesn't smell. The dishwasher is a Kenmore and is less than 7 years old (I think).

    culprit. In your case, it might just be food in your filter or stuck at bottom of the dishwasher. I never put food in dishwasher and rinse 99% off before putting in the machine.

Tip: If you want and easy and effective way to change the color of your grout, go to an Arts and Craft store and

purchase craft paint and apply to your grout. It will permanently change the color of your grout for only a few dollars. The craft paint is for porous surfaces and penetrates the grout. ...»
I did this a couple of year ago and it still looks great. Much cheaper than grout colorant.

    is the worst i've seen in a while.

    one tip that Orkinman gave me to help keep the spiders from finding your house as attractive, was to keep objects and plants from resting against the house. trim back bushes and remove supplies and tools from the siding and foundation.
