DIY Lamp and Peek-a-boo Lamp Shade

I did a lot of lamp shuffling and ended up with none in the living room. How did that happen?! Anyway, I repainted a lamp base bought at a thrift store, and added a little surprise to a shade I already had.

just moved and have been trying to decorate my living room which is blue, yellow and antique white. I want to throw red in, because red is in the rest of the house, but fear it could look patriotic!! I have never done blue before but always thought it looked happy. However to make all flow, I need red I think!!!

There is no pop of color. I would add some moe vibrant blues here and there. Alot seems ...»
pastel, yet pics above bed are darker hues. Incorporate the two more
