online, I created a copy-cat version from a $4.00 picnic basket from Goodwill! And after a little fresh paint, it will soon be heading out to my patio for its fourth summer, filled with pink begonias....the best $4.00 I ever spent! Complete tutorial on my blog!
Today I sold my first piece, a coffee table that I bought off Craigs List for $10 , yes only $10. I painted it with DIY white chalk paint, distressed it a little and gave the top 2 coats of stain with poly.

Congratulations! It's Beautiful! Do mind my asking where you sold it? Do you have a shop? Just
wondering where/how the best way to sell painted furniture... Thanks for the inspiration!
This desk was black when I bought it for $35. It was too dark so I painted it white, then I painted it "Tortilla" by Martha Stewart Living. Never really liked it and was about to toss it.
Giving it one more try, I painted it Old Ochre by Annie Sloan Chalk Paint and decoupaged the drawer fronts and part of the desktop. It's now my fave piece of furniture in the house. I realize decoupage furniture isn't for everyone, but hubby and I love it. See more of this project at my blog. #Bestof2012
