Baseboard Cleaning Tip

I love this simple and useful Baseboard Cleaning Tip. Who knew using an item from your laundry room could help you clean? All you need is a dryer sheet!!! I used Bounce dryer sheets because that is what I have in my laundry room and my stockpile.

After drying my clothes save the dryer sheets and use them to go around your house and wipe down the baseboards. It is supposed to help cut down on dust coming back. It has worked for me! It makes cleaning my ...»

baseboards easier now. So save those dryer sheets and see if it helps on your cleaning

  • My oven was already in need of a cleaning and then I dumped some vanilla all over the bottom {If you place a tbsp of vanilla in the oven for 20 minutes it makes the kitchen smell wonderful - just don't spill it!} 2
  • Make a paste of baking soda and water and spread it over the entire oven. Let sit for an hour to overnight. Then wipe it clean. {You can also spray some vinegar over it once it has dried for some extra cleaning power} 2
  • And then you have a nice clean oven! 3

  • Welcome to my Entryway; a mix of warmth and functionality. The entryway was inexpensively put together through DIY projects, thrift shopping, and clearance shelves. I love how it turned out!
  • Here is the before and after of my entryway space. Before it was cold and uninviting. After it is now a warm and welcoming space!
  • To keep the entryway space clear I designated a basket for shoes. The basket was a score from IKEA's "As-is" Section for $10.00!
  • These flowers add a great touch of cuteness to the space. Complimented with a DIY vase not only was this inexpensive but also I think it looks lovely!
  • To save space I opted to use a stool for seating instead of a bench. The stool was originally a natural wood color. I spray painted the stool using Hunter Green Hi Gloss spray paint from Rust-Oleum to add a pop of color to the room. 1

Clutter closet turne Office

This was a project long overdue. I knew the closets would need re-doing when we bought the house, but over the years this one became a dumpster to put things in. Well I needed an office ...»
space so I figured why not give this space a "sense of purpose". I'm so embarassed of the before, but the after makes up for it. For more pictures visit my blog.
