  • This is the before shot of our granite before it is cut and installed on our island.
  • We were able to position the granite so we could get the larger pieces of movement on the back side of the island
  • This is what was on the island before we started. we have also replaced the island cabinets as well.
  • We also added a sink to the island as well.

  • This is the before and you can see the marble tub in the right hand side of this picture.
  • We changed the top with Marble and changed the sink to a square.
  • This has to be the prettiest marble I have seen in a long time.
  • The before of his side.
  • Just a real pretty marble.
  • We replaced the old marble on the front of the tub and added glass to match the super sized shower.
  • Our super sized shower.
  • Amazing how just small details can be so large.

Wow What a Show Continued!

I though I would share the rest of the bath from vanity's to tub front.

  • This is the before. very large and really bad design. and no seat. But it did have two shower heads.
  • We increased the overall size and moved the door to the center and added half walls to allow for the display of glass.
  • On the right side we added a seat. They still have two shower heads and a lot more interest for the area. Dark Emperador Marble tile as well as glass with tumbled stone and additional emperador for the band. faucets are oil rubbed.

Wow what a shower !

Wow what a shower before, very odd design. We enlarged this shower and made it more the focal point of the very large bathroom.

New Kitchen

To continue with the new kitchen, we have now opened the wall to find they have used the bricks to support the ceiling. ( wow) If you look closely to the ceiling you will see it appears that sheet rock was done around the cabinets, you can see the cut out for the crown. wow Great Fire Blocking .............

New Kitchen Start

This is the same kitchen now with the sofit out, The funny thing we knew it was supporting and now once the sofit is opened and removed, we find the bricks are holding the wall. yes bricks!!! So we will frame a new wall, however we will need to move around cabinets as the new wall will change the measurement for the cabinets. You can see a little bit of the plywood above the old tile. that is what is holding the tile back splash. The plywood stopped at the bottom of the upper cabinets. ...»

Wow, I would not have believed it if I had not seen it. OMG.. Stay tuned for progression pictures.

New Kitchen Project

We have just begun a new kitchen, and look what we have found behind the cabinets. The cabinets were hung together. only on the left and right. no rear support , above top rail or below. because there is no wall. Really how does this stuff get passed. You are looking at a sofit. Can't wait to pull this out and see whats behind it.

OMG !!!!!

  • This shower clearly show's how not to re do your shower. The seat 24" in height and 12" in depth was not trimmed properly and the grout cracked. The best part was the gap in the lower left side of the seat that can never be cleaned 1
  • Once the old tile was removed we found standing water under the seat and a nice mold mess. This was truly a mess. Omg this was a mess.
  • This is one side of the vanities and the other side is the same. big square tub.
  • This was the best part the Handyman really suggested to put this step in, the room was only 36" wide and the step was just about 12" so you needed to turn sideways to go around. window replacement not provided by our company

fixing a prior remodel

We first need to fix all of the thing the prior contractor had done. The shower had standing water and mold in it under the seat. the over sized step was to big for the room and not ...»
needed. The goal was to change the direction of the tile to lengthen the room, get rid of the step, round the tub front to add the appearance that the room is larger then it really is. And fix the shower, clean up the standing water, added Niches and create a better flow of water around the drain. The best part is we were able to get two small granite with a unique flow to it and use them for the vanity's. The few things to changes to the layout certainly gave us the room we were looking for and adding a warm tone on the walls and new lighting all came to together for a really nice bathroom.

  • The before with the old wooden top.

  • You can see how the granite edge treatment lines up with the vanity.

This was fun, here is a custom piece our home owner picked up and wanted to use it in her bathroom.

We replaced the old wooden top and selected a granite top that was cut to match the wood edge profile all around. Then we removed the wooden back splash and made a granite one just larger. The results are just out standing.
