My first born is about to turn 9 years old in March, she asked us to redo her room.(frankly, the last time we did it when we moved in to our house 6 years ago).It was time. I have been
eyeballing this bookshelf on the P******* website for a while. Only problem $599+tax+shipping=expensive. My darling husband came to my rescue and agreed to build it. I had to put my own stamp on it as well. Shelf are ready to put in-still drying. All this spins around on a lazy susan.

He used 12" lazy susan made by Shepherd. 1000lb. I think it was $7+shipping.
I love model homes. I walked into one and I fell in love with the curtain right away. It was a white curtain with greek key border. So I got into research how to make one. Well, the
border which is about 5" wide ain't come cheap. I needed about at least 7 yards. No way I would spend more than $50 on it. So I decided to use a stencil. It turned out great and costed me about $40 . Includes the pair of curtain from IKEA.
I am installing styrofoam crown moulding for the second time. This time in my kitchen. If you love the look of crown moulding but don't have the skill or $$ for wood this is a great
alternative. It looks just like high end crown moulding after you paint it. It is so easy because the back is flat for easy cutting and positioning. I took some before pictures and some during thee installation and will take after pictures when I'm done. I did our bedroom in 1 day! The kitchen is taking a couple days since I have so many other thing going on right now. I buy them from www.creativecrown.com
P.S. I don't work for them nor did they ask me to endorse them.
