Home Maintenance & Repairs: Removed the tiles of my fireplace. Like you guys suggested.

Question is what kind of glue to use for resin back stackedstone? Apparently so many people make the same mistakes by using the wrong glue.

Any suggestion?

  • And here is one more after photo. You'll also noticed we have hardwood floors now too! Yes, I can't stop with the projects. :) This faux wainscoting project was so easy to do and it completely changed the look of our home. We are very pleased! 4

  • Cabinets closed 2
  • cabinets open. Hard to tell on these photos but cabinet opens to reveal 3 storage areas. Each outside door is pegboard on top and shelves at the bottom. Center unit is walled up half way with places to hang on each side and above center divider is shelving. 3
  • close-up of one side and the center unit. all three are hinged with piano hinge on back and caster on the base for moving around. 2

I finally got tired of having all my tools scattered all over my garage and decided to build 4 cabinets to hold it all

(well, almost all). They are on casters so I can roll them around when needed, but you must roll them out to open them up.

If you live in NJ I am sure they have the Great Indoors. It is a good place to look every kind ...»
and brand. They have very Europian style as well.

I am from Europe and Bosch, Miele... are very popular there. Very good quality and work forever. Well, they made in Germany. I cannot really tell what you buy here there weren't made in some kind of third world country. I don't mean they don't make good product but German engineering something China, India...cannot beat.
