Laundry Room Makeover

I have this little laundry room just steps off my kitchen that was always messy! Using left over cabinets from the kitchen I created lots of storage.

A unique look for any floor!

My husband has tiled, put down wood flooring and after growing weary of doing the same thing over and over...we decided to get creative. I hope you like the new floor as much as we do!

What a big difference it makes with just a few little changes....

Again went with lighter drapes and added the sheers and they really popped. Well and changed the furniture around.

3 times the charm! Bathroom gets a makeover

It took me three tries to get it right, but I finally found a look that I love even though I had to keep the tiles I hate! Now it's a soothing, spa-like space and I don't mind the tiles at all anymore!

so cute! good work with the persistence. i was reading the blog responses and you should see ...»
if you could paint over the tiles since that would create complete bliss for you. I also wonder is you could hang a skirt under the sink behind the beautiful legs to give that wall a softer look as well. We have one that we applied with velcro tape in one of our bathrooms and it really made a difference. great job!

Walls & Ceilings: I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for dealing with wood paneling?

I have wood paneling in all but 2 rooms of my house. We were thinking of keeping it in our kitchen and doing a faux waincoting, but it's everywhere else in our house too. I want it gone! I'm tired of looking at it.

she painted an entire room, and the difference is pretty amazing. we painted some paneling as well in a house we lived in some years back. It changed the entire feel of the house. My advice is paint it. If you hate it you can always try tearing it down later.

  • A little styling makes open shelving beautiful and functional. No more wondering where something is--you can see it all. Not show:Even my pantry cupboard has glass doors--I can see at a glance what I need to pick up at the market. I will say I am super OCD and make sure all my labels face forward. I even buy the store brand from one grocery store of all my canned goods because the packaging looks vintage. 2
