these twin headboards and found a way to incorporate them..

this mantle, which I found for $15 whoo hoo has a history and the plates on the wall are some of mine over 20years old, the other plates were my mothers and grandmothers, the hand knitted jacket on the wall was mine as an infant , old aprons of my gmothers , my blanket when baptized , old family Bible, etc. This is not the permanent home, I would like to use this as the headboard in our guest bedroom but will keep it here for a bit .

the original house- with beadboard, hardwood floors & corner windows- which each of the 4 original bedrooms had . We did nearly all the work ourselves and I absolutely love how it turned out. It is one of my favorite rooms because it has so much sunshine streaming in and I love the french doors leading out to the backyard.
