Design & Décor: I'm dying to find out the name of a type of wood reminiscent of driftwood and/or petrified wood.

It is sometimes used in huge slabs as a dining or console table. Usually has dips, gaps, and an uneven edge. Can anyone help?

distressed or finished to look a certain way. If you have a picture of this top you are thinking of, post it. I should be able to tell what kind of wood it is. You can check out my website, or take a look at some of my projects on this site, I have a black walnut live edge slab table on hometalk.

Invisible tub...by Davinenterprises

Here it is...the Invisible Tub...I just finished a master bathroom for a client of mine with this sweet new idea. It is a challenging thing to get a tile floor to stop up the water like a tub, but it was well worth the effort.

This was a fun project because it was unfinished basement for a few years.

When we finished the house, the client wanted to build a guest room, billiard room, office, kitchen, & family room in the space. It was so much fun because I got to design rock, trim, kitchen, colors, & furniture.
