Homemade All-Natural Foaming Hand Soap

Here's a recipe for non-toxic, all-natural hand soap using castile soap, water and essential oils. Castile soap is made of olive oil and is super gentle, biodegradable, non-toxic and if you get Dr. Bronner's, it's even organic! There is no grating involved in this recipe - just pour in and you're done in less than 5 minutes! Use essential oils to make it antibacterial or to add natural fragrance.

  • If you have a very sturdy tree, with huge tree branches, that can bear your weight...you could have a swing!
  • These are some tools and materials that you could use to help make a safe swing. (Disclaimer)
Under your own direction, and at your own risk, alter what you need that best suits you . Use your own judgement in making your swing.
  • You may have an old tire to use also!

Make some great memories!

I Love to Swing...(not the Dance) but on a Rope and Board!

This brings back so many childhood memories! Swinging was one of my past times that took me in another place...in my own world! I loved to swing barefoot, and see if my toes could reach ...»

  • Using jersey fabric and a latch hook canvas, you can create your own shaggy rug.
  • Individually cut strips are looped and tied to create a thick, comfy rug that holds up well.

DIY Flokati/Shag rug

This is an oldie, but goodie. I made this tutorial when I first started blogging and had a rather crappy camera. Regardless, it is still one of my favorite creations! Easy, but time consuming.
