  • My mother said it might be slugs and to get rid of them by getting them drunk.  All you do is to fill small plastic containers with beer.  Don't worry.  The slugs will drink any kind.

  • Green plastic fencing, bamboo stakes and well rotted compost 1
  • Loosen the soil in a 2" radius where you want to put the tower, add a large mound of compost. Place potato's on top and surround enclosure with fencing using the stakes to support and secure it. Top with straw to completely cover spuds
