hang with the rod and hook system so you do not have to do anything more than sew the seams. Sheets, towels, and placemats can be made into curtains or valances very easily as well. You can quite often find inexpensive curtains at Dollar General or on clearance that can be sewn together with another curtain or embellished with other material to customize. I have done a lot of that for my adult sons that are just starting out on their own. Country curtains have a lot of nice curtains if you just want to order curtains. Some can be pricey, though.
