Re-purposed Baby Cradle

My daughter and I literally rescued this beautiful bassinet from the dumpster near our home.
Out from the depths of a dumpster.
Wasn't sure what I wanted to do with this, but thanks to you all I got some great ideas.
I took it apart and did a light sanding on each piece.
I began the process of painting each side with Home Decor chalk paint in the color of Sheepskin.
JoAnnes Fabrics, don't forget your coupons.
Next, I started drawing flowers on the outside head piece and I also began painting the flowers in. I have the attention span of a nat so I'd go from drawing to painting then back again.
Adding more flowers.
All done with the head piece. I used folk art acrylic paint for the flowers.
The foot end of the bassinet had some carved decoration on it so I did my best to make it cute then added the flowers underneath.
These hearts were carved into the bassinet.
I put some stuffed animals with a lace table cloth, and some pretty pillows. I love the way it turned out
I did put a coat of polyurethane on it I case someone one would use it outside for a flower display or garden art.
