Some people love macrame hangers but maybe the boho vibe isn't your style. Maybe you're looking for a more minimalistic, modern plant hanger? I have the perfect DIY plant hanger for you xx.
Step 1: Gather materials - a potted plant, saw, your choice size dowel that fits your plant, hammer, four nails, wood glue, a pencil and macrame cord.
Step 2: Measure and mark the top of your potted plant to your dowel.
Step 3: Cut four pieces out that are the size of the top of your potted plant.
Sand down edges if needed.
Step 4: Lay your pieces out like this and hammer nails in.
Optional: Add a dab of wood glue before nailing pieces together.
Step 5: Cut four pieces of macrame cord your desired length for space, fold one piece in half at the middle and loop around edge of holder.
Repeat to each corner.
Step 6: Hang with your choice of plant and mechanism to your ceiling depending on the weight.
