So there’s a part down the back of our garden that the grass doesn’t grow properly so I decided to make a little flower bed out of some sleepers and posts!

Here’s the area

A few barrels of soil

using the wheelbarrow to carry the sleepers - mind your back!!!!

I loved the plants while still in their pots to see where I wanted to position them!!

I placed the 2 sleepers down!! And fitted the plants in between the sleepers

I had left over little sleepers and put them on the sides

i placed the plants in order of where I wanted them

Using buckets of soil to top up the plants

Pour them in over the plants

And continue with the soil

Using bars I hammered them into the ground in front of the sleeper to hold them!

Here it is in the ground!

and I continued around the back aswell!

Place the sides down!!

do the same on the back

Here it is finished!!!

Using some peat moss I topped up the flower bed!!!

Super quick and easy project for a flowerbed can’t wait to watch them bloom!!!

Hope you guys like it!!!

let me know if you try it!

I was wondering the same thing. Never heard of a piece of wood called a sleeper.
