When we bought house the grout in the kid’s bathroom was dingy and discolored looking from general wear and tear. I wanted to freshen it up and lighten the color, to what I could tell was the real grout color in the areas that hadn’t been in the high traffic areas.

I really wanted to have clean grout, but wasn’t sure where to begin, so I took to Pinterest and looked at several different recipes. Most of the recipes had pretty strong chemicals, like ammonia in them.

My main objective was to use natural products that were safe and non-toxic cleaner {like my DIY Wood Floor Cleaner recipe} because I was pregnant at the time and didn’t want to use any ingredients that would harm the baby or myself.

After some searching, I came across a grout cleaner recipe that used baking soda, lemon juice and vinegar. I knew this was the one I had to try!
