My daughter's hair dye stained the bathroom cabinets! Help!

My daughter used a popular hair dye which spilled onto the white bathroom cabinets. Bleach did not work taking it off. Any suggestions?

My daughter got a lovely shade of turquoise dye all over our shower/tub. I tried everything, until I tried a cleaner called Kaboom. It's strong stuff, so have plenty of ventilation (I had the bathroom window open) and protect your skin (I wore gloves). Leave it sitting on the stains for the recommended time and then use a clean Mr. Clean sponge. Some spots took two applications, but, it ALL came off. Hope this helps.

Is it on a wood surface? You can use the developer that is mixed with hair dye (30 or 40 volume developer at beauty supply stores). I've used this to clean it off of walls, counter tops, floors and bathtubs. Not sure if it will work on wood, but I don't know why it wouldn't! Good luck!

Some dye companies but an 800 phone # on the box or instructions, try that.

Hi Jordan, hope this helps you out,

Use sparingly, dampen the tip of a cloth in acetone-containing nail polish remover. Rub the hair dye in a circular motion for several seconds. Since acetone can strip the finish from wood, use it sparingly and refrain from letting it sit on the wood. Rinse the acetone off the cabinets with cool water
