Is there any way I can protect my yard from people above me sweeping?
Do you have any suggestions on what to do when you are the ground level and the people above sweep their balcony and my porch and chairs get very dirty? Sometimes I’m sitting there and I get it in my hair. Terri

Nothing you can do unless you can enclose with outdoor drapes or add an awning if you are allowed. That's one of the cons of living on lowest level.
Speak to them! They probably don't even know you are there. I am sure they will be nice about it.
Could you add some type of awning? It would divert the dirt maybe?
Oh no! That really stinks! Would you feel comfortable talking to them? Go introduce yourself and just kindly ask them. They probably don't even realize it!
If you dont want to talk to them, play some music while out there or pretend to be talkin on the phone until they get the message😃
As others have said, they may be totally unaware. A friendly knock on their door can be the easiest resolution. Communication is becoming a lost art.
Hello, Speak to them about the problem you are having, Maybe they haven't considered the consequences of their actions! Offer to buy them a Pan and Brush?
Hi Terri, I feel for you experiencing this. Hope this helps you out, it's a shield for rain, but would work great for the dirt from above
