Football Mason Jars

Are you ready for Super Bowl?
Even if you're not into football any other time of the year almost everyone seems to take part in the holiday celebration called Super Bowl ;-). I would think it is pretty safe to say it is an American holiday. I mean no matter what religion, culture or beliefs you hold...Super Bowl is celebrated. At a minimum it an excuse to eat, and hang out with friends.
I love all those mason jar projects out there so I thought why not bring one in to represent my favorite NFL team. Mine happens to be the Denver Broncos and I am hoping they beat the Patriots in the AFC playoffs today.
So onto the project. Start out with clean mason jars.
Then you will need several different colors of paint. I used black and white for the referee's mason jar, brown and white for the football and navy and blue for the Broncos colors. There is no guessing when it comes to your favorite NFL colors. Glidden makes it easy for you and already has your NFL team colors available.
I painted the jars.
Then I used the painter's tape to create the different stripes and for the football.
Here is what they look like completed and ready to be put out with your spread for your Super Bowl party.
Now they are ready to be put out with your spread for your Super Bowl party.
