Grab some ribbon, a wire wreath form and some accent pieces to make this easy wreath that will make a huge impact when welcoming guests this Christmas!
Pick out your ribbon and begin by looping it in and out the three rings on a wire wreath form to create the body of the wreath. I used a linen ribbon with a red stripe down the center but regular burlap ribbon would work as well.
Cut pieces of ribbon in accent color and tie in on various points in the body. Tie two longer places in a knot in where you plan to add a bow. Cut little "v" shaped tails in each piece of accent ribbon for an extra touch.
Add two berry floral picks to the knot where you will place the bow.
Use floral wire to attach a florist bow over the top of the berries and longer pieces of accent ribbon. Florist bows are super simple to make. If you don't know how to make one there are a gazillion videos on YouTube showing you how to do so. Just search "how to make a florist bow." If you prefer you can opt to purchase a ready made bow at most craft stores instead.
Next fluff all the little loops and it's ready to hang!
When hanging the wreath you can also opt to hang a sign behind it (on the wreath hook) for an even more custom look.
My husband is Swedish so I painted a whitewashed "God Jul" sign to help honor his Christmas traditions. However you can paint pretty much anything you want. The super easy method I use requires very little skill and very few materials. Be sure to check out my original post using the the blog link below. There you can find the easy instructions on how to create a sign along with more in depth instructions on creating this wreath.

I hope you enjoyed and that this inspires you to make a great new wreath for your home.

Until next time, God Jul and happy crafting!

Do you have a video of this? I'm not sure I understand the "looping" of the ribbon. How do you get it to look loose and full?

I am sorry but for some reason your "simple" Looping is not explained well enough or even shown in different pictures to see how to do this beautiful wreath. The only part that was easy is the placing of the green ribbon. Is there any pictures or video to show the Looping process ?

I would love to try this but you need to explain how you did the loops.
