Have a clear jar, glass, candle holder, or shallow tray laying around? Why not use it to create a simple, yet festive holiday miniature scene for your home this holiday season? Or, style one to give as a personalized gift.
Learn how to create this miniature Christmas greenhouse in just a few simple steps!
What do you need? Miniature trees and Scenic Snowflakes found at www.miniatures.com, epsom salt, foam core, your desired background image (we found a free stock image online), and a glass or acrylic decorative box. Epsom salt can be found at most drug or grocery stores.
First, tape the background image to the foam core board and place it in the back of the glass box. Then add epsom salt to create the first layer of "snow". Then determine where the miniature trees will go and begin to "plant" each tree in the "snow".
Finally, use a spoon to lightly sprinkle Scenic Snowflakes on the tops of the trees and the layer of "snow" for a sparkly, wintry look. White or clear glitter would work as well.
And just like that, you have a beautiful Christmas or Winter scene! Like the trees and the Scenic Snowflakes that we used? Shop our Christmas miniatures by clicking the link below!
