When I moved I transplanted peonies - They survived but not budding

Do I dare move them again - perhaps to more sunny area of the yard? If I do they problably won't bloom next year either. At present they are in a mostly shaded area. What say you?

It depends on when you moved them... they could be in "shock" and won't bloom until next year.

It can take a while, but it would be better to move them again, if you believe they are in too shadow place - even though it could make them sulk next year, too.

Peonies love at least 6 hours of sun. Plus check to make sure you did not plant them too deep too. Peonies are finicky about being buried too deep. You can move them now and just keep them watered as any new transplant -you can move them any time. Good luck

Maybe give them a year to settled in and they might bloom next year.

Peonies don't like to be moved,It will take 1 to 2 years before they may bloom. Don't give up on them !

They'll never be happy in a mostly shady area. I'm afraid you'll have to bite the bullet and move them again.
