Welcome your family and friends into your home with this adorable flower table...spring is here so I wanted to dress up my back porch with a smile and a warm welcome of Helloicon and what a great way to do it with this little table that was given to me!
It was beautiful in its own way but it still needed a little somethingicon everyone is putting the tall welcome signs up by their front door but I'm always thinking outside the box and I wanted something to put my spring flowers on...I started with some exterior white paint that I already had and adhesive letters left over from another projecticon
Now I just painted over to entire top of the table with the white exterior paint... using two coats and letting dry then carefully peeling the letters officon
With some leftover chalk paint ( rustic charm color) I painted the table legs a little distressing on the whole table and then waxing iticon
Now it's ready to put at my back porch and dress it up with my flowers and plantsicon
So here is the finished product with that beautiful ray of sunshine peeking throughicon
Come on in...you are Welcome here!icon

Love, love this idea!!! I really want to do this! I may have missed it in your instructions, but did you put any type of seal on the table after finishing? I'm just wondering about it sitting out in the elements and getting water damage from the rain, snow, etc. From other things I have done, the paint will eventually start chipping off. At that point I'm wondering about the wood starting to rot. Maybe I'm thinking too much!!! Any thoughts or input would be appreciated!!

What should we do when it sprouts the flowers or are they seed pods ? Should we leave them or cut them off
