Kids' Reading Nook
Like most parents, I want my kids to love reading. I thought giving them a dedicated place to get cozy with a good book would with their love of reading. Spoiler: It did ;-)
This is a closet that sits above our staircase in our hallway. We weren't really using it for much. It already had a built in seat covered with white bead board.
I painted blue stripes using $2 oops! paint and added a "READ" banner to add more playfullness.
