Turn a Cardboard Box Into Storage

As a Mom of 3 I'm always trying to find ways to reuse items that I would otherwise toss into the recycling bin. I'm also ALWAYS needing ways to become organized.
So check out what I did with this cardboard box!
I'm in the middle of a huge playroom makeover project. One of the things I am needing is ways to organize toys, writing and drawing instruments, puzzle and game pieces and so on.

So I partnered with my friends at DecoArt and got to work.
I simply used the DecoPage paper and traced both sides of the box, cut them out and then glued down with DecoPauge. I finished the piece up with some extra ribbon I had been wanting to use that was leftover from a previous project.
I'd say this is a much cuter way to organize your writing instruments.

You can also do this to much larger boxes and create a toy box, a stuffed animal hospital, a lego bin and so much more!
I am proud to say that I made this box nearly 9 months ago and it still functions and looks like this to this very day. The trick is to decoupage the entire outside so that it gives the paper some protection.
