You won't believe the fun you can achieve with one crusty petite chandelier, spray paint, 3 fence slats, twine, some crystals, solar candles, and an old wooden bench fit for two...

Getting Ready for Spring and Summer in the Garden...I wanted to dress up a tiny corner by the back door without spending any time or cash...

Say Hello to the French Corner...A Rustic Bling Chandelier with Solar Lights!

Here's What You Need:

1 - Petite Chandelier...this one was in our chicken coop...it was painted blue, full of dust and feathers. The chickens are gone...the chandelier remains.

1- Black Spray Paint.

An assortment of Crystals to Hang from the Chandelier.

3 - Wood Fence Slats to create a canopy for the corner and for hanging the Chandelier.

Twine for hanging the Chandelier and for anchoring the wood slats.

Solar Candle Lights for Outdoor Mood Lighting.

Step 1: Remove the Crystals. Wash the Crystals with soap and water.

Step 2: Spray paint the Chandelier. (The electrical wires had been removed. The Chandelier Candle Cups will hold solar candle lights.)

Step 3: Gather your materials to Bling the Chandelier...Chandelier (now in Black), Twine, Crystals, Scissor.

Step 4: Attach the Crystals to the Chandelier. Pinch the wires to secure.

Step 4: Test the Solar Lights...these are 1.5 inches and fit perfectly into the Chandelier Cups. The lights need about 4 hours of daylight and will turn on once it is dark...the lights stay lit all night long. Sold as a pack of 8.

Step 5: Build the Wood Canopy...Place 3 Wood Fence Slats to fill in the corner of the space.

Step 6: Position the Chandelier under the Middle Slat. We used an Old Lantern Hook to Hang the Chandelier...

Step 6: Wrap Twine Under and Over the Slats to secure the Slats into Place...if You don't have a hook, the Chandelier can easily hang with the twine.

Almost Done...Ready for the Solar Lights.

Position the Bench Under the Canopy and Chandelier...

Step 7: Add the Solar Lights to the Chandelier Candle Cups.

not sure how much footage there is from the bench to the chandelier. Perhaps hung from one of the ends?
