Our mirror mosaic fence. We had a blast creating this. Amazing what can come from a broken mirror mishap.

Wall of built Ins out of IKEA Hemnes cabinets

When renovating my basement I knew I wanted a wall of built ins. Keeping my budget in mind I created that feature using IKEA bookshelves from the Hemnes line. The bookshelves were spaced ...»
out to cover the entire 17 foot wall, then finished off with trim and soffits. The space where the wall mounted tv will be hung was finished with a board and batten pattern to match the rest of the room. Visit www.no29design.com for more details, pictures and ideas!

  • A Swiffer Sweeper. Is it worth creating solid waste to have and use one of these?

Cleaning & Organization: Does anyone out there use a Swiffer?

Do you like it? Do you not like it? Do you have an ecological alternative? Is it the best thing since sliced bread, or could you live without it?

I use a dry swiffer on my hardwood floors every other day. I love how it picks everything up. ...»
I used to use a dustmop and things just didn't stick to it enough. No problems with the swiffer. I've been using it since it came out.

  • My millstone fountain 14

Millstone fountain

This is my second fountain in my shade garden. It is made from an old millstone that has a tub underneath. The gazing ball in the background sits on an old tree stump that was retrieved from a river and left to dry a year before we drilled up the center of it for electrical so we could make the gazing ball glow at night.
