Planter inside added a new plant to it!

I did this last year & the Calla Lilies were not growing right, so took out & added new plant.

What do I do with the lilies I still have, throw out or are they still good?

I would put them in the ground as soon as it warms up a bit so 1) you don't forget them and 2) ...»
they can collect as much energy as possible from the green tops down into the bulb to store for their spring flowers. I remember someone planting 3,000 daffodiles for a wedding that bloomed a month too early. I spent an entire day folding over the foliage and tying into a bundle with fishing line in order to not have brown leaves showing for the wedding, without cutting the leaves to the ground. When you bundle them low to the ground they can vitrually disappear into the landscape and not be noticed without sacrificing the energy giving leaves for the sake of aesthetics.

  • Flower bed 1.Not sure of this?
  • Flower bed 1. The ivy came from this flower we planted this yr. in front of house.
  • Flower bed 2 .The ivy gets blue flowers, I thought would be good to keep the rosen sharon tree babies but it's killing off the day lilies & the mums grown are only 1/2 the size this year. Should I remove now or next yr?

I have 2 different ivy growing & not sure what it is or if good? Help

Ivy not sure?

The Preen will have no effect on plants that are already growing, like your vinca. It inhibits ...»
germination, hence why it is called a pre-emergent, and it should reduce the number of rose of sharon seedlings you have, along with other annual weeds.
