Cleaning & Organization: What's the best way to hide speaker wire *without* putting it through the wall in an apartment?

I'm kind of DIY-deficient, so tell me, what's the best way to hide speaker cables so that my fiancé doesn't trip on them and such?

Entertainment & Rec Rooms: what would you suggest with mounting a 60-65" *PLASMA* TV?

Do you have any specific mounts that are better or more reliable? Do you suggest a professional installation?

ED. . . . . didn't we talk about this a little while back?? You asked about buying furniture ...»
and I asked you if there weren't any furniture stores in NYC or something to that effect!! I'm just surmising you're probably a single guy and want your place to look decent but aren't quite ready for the "big investment" type of furniture - am I close? It really all boils down to what your budget allows. If you're just starting out (No Mrs. and no kids??) PB will probably be just fine. Over all their furnishings are respectable so if you take care of it and don't take a running jump from the opposite side of the room, you ought to be ok. Ask them 'HOW' it's made: hardwood frame, is it 8-way hand tied springs or a drop in spring unit. Look at the upholstered pieces with patterns (just for comparison) and see how well the pattern is matched from the top down to the bottom of a chair, sofa or whatever. Sit on it - ask what the density of the cushions are?? Act like you know what you're doing - even if you don't and be a smart consumer.

I am planning content for Atlanta Home Improvement magazine, and I'm curious: What topics would you like to read about?

Gardening: how does landscaping work? what would you suggest I start with in a completely new garden?

New space is going to have no grass or anything in it, with no patio - so we'd want to add grass, maybe patio for grilling on it - but we really don't know where to start. What do ...»

Outdoor Living: What kind of barbecue options do i have with a new home?

I want to get a new grill for my patio - what kind of things do you suggest? What are my options? Are electric better than gas? I have about $1-2k to spend.

I would get a Weber Silver series propane, about $400-$500 range. As Woodbridge Envionmental ...»
mentioned. I too say, get Stainless steel Grates, not Cast Iron. Some Webers come with Stainless Steel heat diffuser bars also. Usually have to go to a local Hardware store to get better quality, over the big Box stores. What is shipped to the local stores, is better than what they ship to Big Box stores, trust me, I've been in the hardware business for over 25 years. Also invest in a good cover (around $50).
