I took a tour of our new neighborhood, and selected homes with paint colors I liked. Which one do you like? See more in the link.

DEFINITELY #2 - as inspiration! You don't want to 'copy' colors that are already in the
neighborhood - put your unique stamp on it! If I were using this as a model, I might consider : 1) taking the lightest color just a BIT more toward a buttery tone - careful, yellows are tricky! 2) taking the dark accents on the windows to a barn red color - check out Historic color charts at your paint dealer 3) carry that red to the door, too! Good luck & have fun!
LOVE IT! LOVE PURPLE!! There is not a single white ceiling in my house..... The living room
walls are purple with a pearlized mossy green ceiling. Lighting changes throughout the day have some spectacular effects on the ceiling! Sounds weird, but I love to recline and just stare at the ceiling.......!
My home was built in 1940 and it has the original tilt-out storm windows. The storm windows have a pretty cool stay / lock mechanism that keeps the window tilted open and conversely, secured when it's closed (see pic).
I need to find a few more of these as some of my windows are missing them, but I can't seem to locate them anywhere. Does anyone know where I might buy some of these?
