Framed and Lit Ornament Tree

I created this golden ornament tree on canvas for my holiday decor. I combined twinkle lights and gold globes to make an abstract, framed tree. It certainly sparkles for the Christmas season!

Repairing Wooden Furniture With Bondo All Purpose Filler

Jacque and I are always on the look out for furniture in need of a little TLC, so when we ran across this beautiful dresser/buffet, it was hard to pass up bringing it home. It had cracks, ...»
chips, and gouges...Just what we were looking for! We had used different wood fillers in repairing other pieces, but thanks to some advice from my father-in-law and the 3M AutoCare team, we learned that Bondo was an amazing alternative to ordinary wood fillers. It's got a quick cure time, it's strong, and it doesn't shrink while it cures. Take a look at our experience using Bondo All Purpose Filler to repair our Woodland Themed Dresser

  • A couple of hours will get you a pretty spiffy and inexpensive new fall wreath. Unbleached coffee filters, a foam wreath and the decorations of your choice. Pretty great results from a whole lotta nothin. http://www.recapturedcharm.com/2012/09/fall-coffee-filter-wreath.html 3

Self-watering Planter

I have really appreciated my original Really Raised Bed for starting transplants and nurturing tender plants I get in the mail. But these beds must be watered frequently to keep the soil ...»
from drying out.

I decided to make a self-watering raised bed and it has been a rousing success!

I have directions for making your own self-watering, really raised bed at http://www.walterreeves.com/how-to-archive/....

Great Idea!! I'll certainly have to try this out next season. But I'll have to agree with the ...»
concerns of Miss Connors and Miss Wells regarding chemicals from the plastic tub or the pressure treated lumber. Just wondering if there's any significant danger to me and or my family's health. Thanks.
