What kind of plant is this?

These are growing in my neighbors yard. We have no clue what they are??? It has a really thick stem like a sunflower would. We thought it was a weed but there are about 6-7 and theyre spaced apart perfectly as if planted purposely. Please help solve the plant mystery

I use a paste made of boric acid and grape jelly make a thick paste and place where ou see the ...»
ants then sprinkle just the boric acid along the trail the worker ants eat the jelly mixture and track the boric acid back to the queen she eats the mixt and gets the powder on her and she dies thus killing the mound. Works for roaches also. I have also used cream of wheat on mounds in the yard with great succes it swells when eaten and kills the critter.

Gardening: My back yard is very uneven and I am constantly twisting my ankles. Does anyone have ideas on how to even it out w/out

buying a lot of top soil or having the entire yard graded by a professional? I do plan on having different types of gardens in some of the trouble spots, but that still won't take care of the entire problem

Hello I am Not a landscaper but if your twisting your ankles when walking maybe it you took a ...»
tiller and ran over it and smothed it out you can do it yourself with a rented tiller if you dont have one and a long piece of wood like a 2x4 and just smooth it out. Then you can plant your gardens or make walkways where you want them.

New updated pictures of the deck and 'decked out' and ready for Spring!

Back deck renovation, we wanted to spend @ $2000.00 and wanted to go from SLAB to FAB! Back deck renovation, wanted to spend $2000.00 and wanted to go from SLAB to FAB! Most of the costs ...»
involved were the material costs and adding a a couple feet of length of cement to the already existing slab. We used clearance slate from http://www.flooranddecoroutlets.com/ and a palette of flagstone we found on clearance to make a pathway into the yard. The pics are without the furniture cushions and all dolled up for when we use it but you get the idea we also changed the glass table for a rot iron one that works much better and matches all the other furniture.
