Cheap Invisible Plate Hangers

I wanted invisible plate hangers for my plate wall but I was not willing to spend a few dollars each for each hanger, so this is what I did and it worked beautifully!

  • Miss Mustard Seed's Milk Paint in Tricycle Red. I started with a vintage radio cabinet and wanted to achieve a chippy look, not the distressed look.

I am curious the size of this piece and the red piece you did. They are both gorgeous. I ...»
actually though the red piece was an antique china cabinet when I first saw it! I am now looking for quilts, I have bought the paint, now I just need to find the perfect piece of furniture.

Refinished Vintage Library Cabinet

This piece was rescued from a vacant school building owned by a family friend. It desperately needed to be refinished. It is now used for storing craft supplies in our living room/office. For more info, visit http://diyonthecheap.blogspot.com/2012/08/Li....
